Holy Cross Episcopal School
is a ministry of the Church of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Trussville,
Alabama. HCES was established with the mission of providing legal means of home
schooling for Christian families seeking to educate their children and raise
them to be disciples of Christ. Holy Cross is open to Christians of all
denominations with preference for admission given to confirmed Episcopalians.
The Episcopal Church is a liturgical church and the liturgy is used during our
educational endeavors.
Holy Cross Episcopal School
accepts students in grades 1-12.
Parents seeking enrollment
in Holy Cross Episcopal School are required to interview with the
administrators/ a member of the board prior to admission. All enrollment forms
must be turned in along with the registration fee prior to scheduling your
interview. Enrollment is closed for the current school year. Applications for
the 2008-2009 school year are available.
Co-op classes are currently
in session and meet weekly on Wednesday afternoons. Current offerings include
Spanish, Elementary Art, and Guitar. Guitar classes are still open for
enrollment. You are not required to be enrolled in HCES in order to enroll in
Co-op classes.

Classical Co-op is under development for the fall of 2008. If you are interested
in Classical education, please contact us so we can keep you informed of our
progress in establishing this Co-op.
